Centre Culturel Irlandais invites applications for its 2016 programme of residencies and bursaries.
- Centre Culturel Irlandais’ annual residency programme offers great opportunities for artists of all disciplines to tap into the resources of the CCI and Paris, as well as being an important means of showcasing Ireland’s dynamic contemporary culture on an international stage.Artist Residencies
Residencies of up to 3 months between September 2016 and June 2017, open to practitioners in all art forms with a record of professional achievement. Travel from Ireland, accommodation and a monthly stipend included. Applicants must be Irish citizens or normally resident in Ireland, with professional involvement in creative practice.
We are delighted to collaborate with a range of Irish cultural organisations to support the 2016-2017 residency programme: Music Network, Contemporary Music Centre, Design and Craft Council of Ireland, Dance Ireland, Words Ireland, Wicklow Arts Office and four Midlands Arts Offices (Laois, Offaly, Westmeath and Longford). CCI and these partner organisations will share the costs of month-long residencies in CCI enabling the Centre to increase the number of residencies it can offer.
French Language Bursaries
Scholarships for the month of August 2016 aimed at cultural and media professionals who wish to improve their French language skills for professional purposes. Accommodation in the CCI and an approved language course included.
Fellowship Bursaries: Fellowship Bursaries for 4-6 weeks (July/August 2016) to conduct research into the CCI’s Old Library and Historical Archives Collection. Travel from Ireland, accommodation in the CCI and a stipend included.
The Rev. Liam Swords Foundation Bursary: The Rev. Liam Swords Foundation invites applications for one 3-month summer bursary from researchers at post-graduate level from any discipline in an Irish third-level institution. Travel from Ireland, accommodation at the CCI and a stipend included.
